Playsongs Publications is an independent family run business which produces and publishes high quality books and audio CDs for children aged 0-7 years.

It all started in 1987 when Charlie Roberts, then a toddler, inspired her mother Sheena to create a little masterpiece because it was hard to find good music on the market for babies and very young children. Her first recording of songs with a book of all the words of the songs and ideas of actions and games to play, ‘Playsongs Action Songs and Rhymes’, was welcomed by mothers and teachers who were also looking for good music and now Playsongs ‘babies’ are buying and singing Playsongs to their own babies!

Today Playsongs publishes and distributes six titles comprising three books with CDs and three other music CDs. We believe in quality, not quantity but we have ideas in the pipeline for more to come, so stay tuned to Playsongs!
